Yup. I think this one pretty much speaks for itself. I guess younger guys and international dudes won’t really get this one, but here in the USA the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is renowned for being the slowest service that the government offers. It’s quite a drag. Anyway, some DS origins coming at you guys next week, there might be a little kid version of DS involved for the girls (and guys?) to squeal over. Catch you in 7.
Hello fellow sloths! This week DS devises a quick getaway from the media hounds eager to catch details on his casework. I think the relationship between crime fighters and the media is a pretty interesting one, and this is something I might revisit down the line. Usually in these types of stories you see eager newspaper men as either assistants to detectives or major antagonists, and I think that kind of wide spectrum is pretty rare for a character type in any kind of media. Anyways, keeping sloth going strong into the new year, I’m already on pace for my best month yet! Thanks for looking, and if you dig what you see, make sure to hit that “LIKE” button on the left! It means a ton! Until next week, catch you later slow bros!
What’s up! Sloth obviously has no tolerance for YOLO-slinging yo-yo’s of any criminal caliber! Fortunately for him, crime and stupidity tend to go hand in hand more often than not. Don’t worry, this is just a little break from the crime spree that the Dolphin has Sloth running around tending to. Of course, considering how slowly Sloth runs, that’s a full time job! Next week we’ll have a little state of the city concerning The Dolphin’s activities as Sloth participates in a press conference! There’s a pretty subtle film / TV reference in this one, I like sneaking these kinds of things in. Anyway, hello to all new slothfans! Remember to ‘like’ on the left to get weekly updates and some behind-the-scenes stuff! Until next week!
CONTINUED FROM DS #33! Starting off 2013 with a boom! I think “Slothmode Engaged” is going become Sloth’s catchphrase when he thinks no one is around… sort of like he whispers it to himself to get in the zone. Apparently sloths have a great sense of smell, mostly because their other senses aren’t all that great and they need some kind of defense mechanism. Anyway, I tried some little things out with texture overlays in here, just a quick and dirty way to add some interest to the art. I think it’s going to keep evolving as I go, we’ll see what happens! It’s amazing how drug dealers will try to trick police, huh? Sloth keeps getting stopped in his tracks in his investigations, but he’ll find a way to get to the bottom of the city’s criminal activity. Hope you guys haven’t abandoned your New Year’s resolutions yet. Until next week!
Hello Sloth fans! Here’s the last comic of the year, and the first to be made on my new pen display. My plan is to slowly ramp up the visual quality on here (more like the second frame) over the course of the next year, until this thing is up there with the best. Wish me luck! I haven’t decided to go over the top with a single frame like that second one in awhile, so I hope you guys dig it. Anyway, this is the start of a new arc in which Sloth attempts to work his way up the food chain once again in an attempt to nail the Dolphin. He may or may not be behind the “new supplier”… yeah. As always, click the “like” on the left for updates and other junk, it really helps me out. To be continued in DS #34! Until then slow-bros. See you next year!
