Hey guys! Sorry for the random disappearance, I was travelling without all of my fancy technology. Sometimes even the sloth needs a vacation! Anyway, Sloth is back in action and taking on new cases! I’ve always liked the “undercover agent trying not to be found out” trope in movies and such, so I figured I’d try a completely absurd take on it (see “We Own The Night” for a fantastic take on this situation). Anyways, I’m back in the swing of things, so I’ll be seeing you guys around! Later!
What’s up! Hope everyone had an interesting Fourth of July weekend! Sorry if this alienates any international readers out there, but regardless of the way our government is screwing up big time seemingly at every turn, I still dig this country. Sometimes big blocks, burgers and beer can be enough, even for Sloth. Yes, I know the Constitution does not have a specific provision guaranteeing the right to bacon cheeseburgers, but I think it should. Side note – I have to admit: The 1970 Buick GSX featured here is my dream car. I don’t know what it is. Sure, I’d love a Ferrari 458 or an Aston Martin DB9, but for for some reason I think it would be a tough choice between those guys and a 40+ year old Buick. If anybody knows anyone out there willing to gift me any one of those three cars, let me know :P Anyway, I’ll catch you guys next week!
Hello good people of the internet! After a long break, Detective Sloth is back in action! Here is his not-so-triumphant return! I find it pretty funny that most of the volume of sloths come from their fur, when they get wet they look like weird mop skeleton aliens… because they have no muscle mass. I’m sure I’ll come up with a “ladies ‘volumizing’ shampoo” joke somewhere down the line (if that shampoo is actually a thing). As a side note, I’ll be the first to admit my art on this comic is wildly inconsistent, but I’m fairly proud of this one, and I think I’ll be experimenting a little bit (as hinted at by that first panel). Anyways, I’m getting back into the slothy swing of things after a big move, and I’ll hopefully be catching you guys weekly for the foreseeable future! So, for all returning sloth fans, welcome back, and for any newbies out there, welcome for the first time! Enjoy!
Hey Slothfans! This week we have Sloth being mistaken for another comic-strip crime-fighter! Unfortunately Sloth isn’t as speedy as Spidey, but he at least has comparable climbing skills. Those claws have to come in handy for something! I realized that the last sentence was a terrible pun after I wrote it. I’m leaving it. Anyway, there’s been a lot of activity on the Facebook fan front lately, and I have to give a shout out to all the new fans out there! Keep fighting the good fight people! I’ll catch you next week with some more fun slothing. Until then!
What’s up Slothpeople! Man, slothpeople would probably be pretty damn frightening. Anyways, I’m going to get into a set of pretty much self contained comics, and this is the first one. Unfortunately having 3 sharp claws on each hand isn’t the best for typing, so Sloth buys his keyboards in bulk! In other news, we finally passed the 300 Facebook followers milestone, here’s to many more! Catch you guys next week, as always!
Heads up! You knew it couldn’t be that easy, right? The Dolphin, of course, lives to fight another day. I was thinking about having a Loki / Joker style capture and infiltrate plan, but that’s been done and would probably be kind of boring. Anyway, I think this will round out this storyline for now, I’ll most likely start on some one-shot stories just for kicks. As always, thanks for taking a look, and like on the left for weekly updates! Catch you next week!
Here it is! Giant-Sized episode number 50! I really stretched the limits with what I am capable of doing in a week on this one, hence the relatively late upload time. Hope you guys enjoy! I intended to legitimately paint in the tones on the whole thing, but just ran out of time. This the first we’ve seen of an internal monologue with Sloth. I may or may not keep it, but I think it works here and I’m happy with how it turned out on this one. We’ll see in the near future. I’m going to have to go with something a little less ambitious next week… Anyways, catch you then! Remember to like on the left for weekly updates if you want to see more stuff like this! Thanks for taking a look!
Greetings! This week Sloth gains an ally in the fight against the Dolphin… and she promptly gets kidnapped. This week has been a bit hectic for me, but I’m clearing next week’s schedule for a big number 50! I don’t want to give too much away, but it looks like we’re finally going to have some fisticuffs between our main characters! Until then!
Hello good people of the internet! First off I want to send a big thank you to all of the first responders, EMS, and law enforcement personnel that made this week in the USA a little less tragic than it could have been (regardless of where you are)! I don’t know if any of you guys will see this, but you deserve more thanks than you get. Anyway, this week I’ve been swamped with personal stuff so I wasn’t able to put together a fully fledged comic, so I figured I’d slap together a little interlude comic that isn’t part of the main story. I’ll pick that action back up with #49 next week, and then have a huge comic for number 50! Anyways, I’ll see you guys then. Thanks for taking a look!
Yo. This is a comic about a Sloth attempting to interrogate a mime. That is happening. Anyways, the response lately has been huge! Thanks again to everybody checking out the comic, you guys make the work worth it. I have to start planning the DS #50 extravaganza! Catch you dudes next week.
